Located in Incheon, the gateway to South Korea, it has grown to become a key hub for energy supply in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
In 2013, it launched as a subsidiary of SK Innovation, strategically diversifying its product lines into high-value-added products.
SK Incheon Petrochem prioritizes SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) in management, pursuing zero accidents and practicing eco-friendly management.
Since 2005, we have continuously invested approximately KRW 400 billion in the SHE fields to create a safe workplace for our members and become a company that the local community can trust.
SK Incheon Petrochem refines crude oil to produce LPG, gasoline, jet fuel, diesel fuel, naphtha, which is a raw material for chemical products, and chemical products, such as para-xylene from naphtha.
To secure sustainable growth engines, we promote eco-friendly initiatives, encompassing the production of renewable products from waste tires and plastic pyrolysis oil, alongside the conversion of organic waste materials into energy. Prospecting ahead, we are poised to expand bio-fuel production to respond to global carbon regulations while concurrently growing hydrogen supply initiatives in Seoul and the metropolitan area to invigorate the hydrogen economy.
